Ramus evokes the delicate nature of roots and vines. The careful mathematics of plant growth may seem random from afar, but it is a carefully orchestrated system. This intelligent growth design serves as structural support to the plant, and is affected by many environmental stimuli such as gravity, light exposure, water, oxygen, and various minerals. Made of cast brass, Ramus is a candle holder that comes in three different heights. It is meant to be grouped in of three or more, to enhance its plant like effect, and to create randomness out of order. The candle holders can be kept polished for a more exquisite look, or let to patina as a suggestion of the passing of time.
